In the Hunger Games there are hovercrafts that have many uses from transportation to hunting escaped people. The hover craft in the Hunger Games is very big and can carry allot of people from place to place.The hover craft uses large fans for lift and control. Allot of the hover craft today is also powered by a large fan. Others are powered by jet turbines.

The hovercraft in the Hunger Games is a long time away there are still modern hover craft. The most popular hovercraft is the Universal Hovercraft it has a skirts that inflates with holes like the puck on a air hockey table(Universal Hovercraft, The World Leader in Hovercraft Technology). There are more advance ones that take flight(Universal Hovercraft, The World Leader in Hovercraft Technology). And there are not many of the flying saucer that uses turbines to get lift and goes nine feet in the air("Moller Flying Saucer/Hovercraft Ready to Go: $125,000 and up" ).
